The Pret Lyric X2 MIPS Helmet delivers performance, style, safety, and a perfect fit with direct Level 1 ventilation. Ultra lightweight ACT combines In Mold multi shell construction with overlapping PC shells for durability and protection. HALEO EPS foam and IONIC+ fabric keep it fresh and Fidlock magnetic buckles keep it easy. The Lyric X2 is audio ready featuring detachable Covert Ear Covers.

In-Mold Multi-Shell Construction
Advanced Composite Tech – Pret created ACT to make the strongest and lightest weight helmet line. Reinforcing internal polycarbonate plates effectively doubles the shell thickness in critical areas for increased durability and safety. Shell overlap areas interock to create a "halo" region of double shell thickness.
MIPS Equipped – Developed by brain surgeons and scientists to reduce rotational forces on the brain caused by angled impacts to the head. The secret behind MIPS' unique, patented tech comes from the human brain, which is surrounded by a low-friction cushion of cerebrospinal fluid that protects it by allowing it to slide slightly on impact. MIPS imitates this with its own low friction layer between the helmet's outer shell and the liner, which slides to absorb much of the energy created by an angled blow to the head.
Ventilation
Level 1 Ventilation – Direct venting on the Moxie X is always open with vents specifically designed for high-output activities.
Fit
RCS Fit System – Pret developed their exclusive quick release RipCord System (RCS) to create the perfect micro-adjustable, compact and ergonomic fit system. One full turn provides a full 4 cm of micro-adjustment. Simply pull up on the adjustment dial and the exclusive Ripcord feature instantly releases the system.
Fidlock Magnetic Buckles – Whether you are wearing gloves, mitts, or have your hands full you can easily get your helmet buckled up and ready to go.
